The final deadline to submit your register form and payment is December 9, 2011. CONFERENCE LAW STUDENT REGISTRATION Students participating in MPILCC 2013 will be using Symplicity CSM (Career Services Manager) to upload their resumes and make their interview selections. However, the registration process will be administered by the registering law school. Students cannot register directly on the MPILCC Symplicity site for the Conference. Instead, they must register their interest in attending the Conference with their school's Office of Career Services. In an Excel spreadsheet:Schools must provide the following information field information in this order for each student who is registering
E-mail accuracy is a extremely important. If a student's e-mail address is incorrect, that person will not receive access privileges to the MPILCC Symplicity site. If a student changes his/her e-mail address, please notify Paul Woo (see below) and inform him of the e-mail address change. The student login username will actually be his/her e-mail address (hence, the importance of accurate e-mail addresses). A reminder - please remove the e-mail hyperlink for each student from the excel cell before you send it. Tell us whether the student participated in last year's MPILCC Conference. In order to keep the MPILCC student database accurate, we need to eliminate duplicate student accounts. You simply should ask each student to tell you whether they registered for the Conference last year (even if they did not submit a resume or attend the actual conference) when you announce the upcoming MPILCC conference. We recommend that law schools add and identify an administrator's name on the student registration spreadsheet (asterisk the last name). Your administrator will then be able to see procedural informational and announcements sent to all students via e-mail. She will also get a login and password, so your school may view the employer bidding screen and see which employers are coming. The Symplicity login and password does not give the contact administrative or reporting privileges, but access to the system allows the contact to see what your students are seeing. SYMPLICITY STUDENT LOGINS AND PASSWORDS Each registered student will be given a login and password to their own MPILCC Symplicity account. Student procedures related to securing an interview: resume uploads, employer bidding, viewing schedule assignments, and alternate fill-ins, as well as procedures for searching and responding to job postings will be handled electronically via the MPILCC Symplicity.com site. USING SYMPLICITY More information about how to use the Symplicity CSM system will be sent to registered students and administrators when they receive their login and password. We are confident that your students will find the Symplicity CSM system to be very user-friendly MPILCC 2013 CALENDAR OF IMPORTANT SCHOOL DATES AND DEADLINES (times are C.S.T.)
