Welcome Students
You are cordially invited to participate in the Twenty-First Annual Midwest Public Interest Law Career Conference, at Northwestern University School of Law (downtown Chicago) on Saturday, February 7, 2009. Participation in the Conference is free and open to first, second, and third year law students from law schools in the states below, who have registered and paid for conference participation.

Minnesota |
Indiana |
Missouri |

The Conference offers you opportunities to:
- Interview with a variety of public interest and government employers for summer law clerk and entry-level attorney positions (employers will pre-screen resumes and select students to interview). Though most of the opportunities are unpaid or invite outside funding, there are positions that offer a stipend. Since most of the employers come mainly from the Midwest, you may find a position in the communities you seek to serve.
- Meet with employers during Table Talk, a morning session where you can informally chat with employers about their organization's opportunitites. Brochures, newsletters and other organizational literature from each employer will also be available.
- Respond to on-line employer resume requests for internships (volunteer or paid), fellowship, and entry level positions. This service is available to you throughout the school year.
SYMPLICITY.COM
Our procedures for student interviewing and resume requests are handled via the Internet. Each registered student will be given a login and password to their own MPILCC Symplicity account. Procedures related to employer bidding, resume uploads, viewing schedule assignments, cancelling interviews and alternate fill-ins will be done on-line via the MPILCC Symplicity site. Similarly, procedures for searching and responding to job postings will also be handled electronically via the MPILCC Symplicity site. You will find more information about using the Symplicity site under the Conference Tab.
